Curriculum development and training

The company was established by Philippa Beagley, a qualified teacher with considerable experience as a practitioner and manager in schools and local authority education services.

She has led on the development of 14-19 programmes and strategies such as the 14-19 diplomas, Foundation Learning and Raising the Participation Age.

She has also managed the Education Other Than At School service [EOTAS].This involved assessing the education requirements of new arrivals, those with complex needs and excluded students and brokering suitable alternative education provision. To ensure that the alternative education programmes meet Ofsted quality standards she has developed and managed quality assurance processes for providers and implemented a programme of support and training.

She is an accredited Arts Award adviser trainer, with five years experience in the development and delivery of the Arts Award and other portfolio based qualifications, such as The Project and Personal and Social Development qualifications. She is also an experienced teacher trainer in the field of dance in the primary school, has managed many arts education projects with voluntary sector organisations raising significant sums of money towards their delivery.

She is a dynamic, creative, and highly inspirational teacher, trainer and project manager with a specialism in the arts, inclusion and curriculum development in state schools, with independent education providers and voluntary sector organisations.

PB Education Services is small enough to provide a personalised service. We have a network of other recommended independent practitioners with specialisms such as careers advice and guidance, apprenticehips, dyslexia and autism awareness, PSHE and behaviour management.
